About The Host(s)

Ramses Wissa Wassef Art Centre

The Ramses Wissa Wassef Art Centre is a pioneering Egyptian arts and crafts centre founded by architect and artist Ramses Wissa Wassef in Harraniya in the early 1950s. Built around his belief that creativity is innate to every person, the Centre became a space where local communities could develop their artistic expression through traditional crafts, particularly weaving. Today, it continues to preserve and celebrate Egyptian craftsmanship through its workshops, galleries, museums, and creative community.
