Lebanon Reforestation Initiative
Lebanon Reforestation Initiative (LRI) is a community-based environmental organisation that works with local partners to restore and expand Lebanon’s forests by planting native trees and strengthening local capacity for sustainable land stewardship. Their activities bring together communities, youth, and stakeholders to protect landscapes and promote biodiversity across the country.
Les Restaurants Du Coeur
In response to food insecurity in Lebanon, Les Restaurants du Coeur began in 1983 offering daily meals to displaced and vulnerable people. Today the organisation continues its mission to provide nutritious meals to elderly adults and children from low-income families.
